Charter season at Sonderborg Airport is underway

With a record number of destinations and charter trips, the charter season at Sønderborg Airport is officially underway.

Neubauer Reisen has already sent the first flight with excited guests to and from Barcelona, and on Sunday, Gislev Rejser set course for Naples, directly from Sønderborg.

Danish and German travelers can look forward to direct flights to around 20 destinations across approximately 38 trips throughout spring, summer, and autumn.

There will be direct flights to popular destinations such as Sicily, Montenegro, Malaga, Naples, Verona, Edinburgh, Austria, Madeira, and Lake Garda.

Gislev Rejser, Neubauer Reisen, and Alsie Express are offering the trips from Sønderborg Airport this upcoming charter season.

Flights will be operated by everything from propeller aircraft with room for 60–70 passengers to Smartwings’ large Boeing 737-800, seating up to 189 passengers.

“At Sønderborg Airport, we aim to make the world more accessible for those wishing to travel to and from the region and the borderland. We also strive to expand our catchment area to attract travelers from Central Jutland and Funen. We achieve this by offering the right products – and, of course, with our free parking,” says Jákup Sverri Kass, CEO of Sønderborg Airport.

“At our airport, it’s a fast journey from parking to boarding – before you know it, you’re on the plane.”
